Hi, I’m Laura. I was diagnosed with ADHD in January 2024 and Autism in February 2025, at 41 and 42. After a lifetime of feeling different and misunderstood, I’m finally able to understand how my brain works differently, and to meet the things I struggle with self-compassion instead of shame. As someone who’s late-diagnosed myself, I know the rollercoaster of emotions that comes with it, because I’ve lived it too.
As a mum to 14-year-old twins, I struggled postnatally and didn’t understand why things felt so hard when, on paper, I should have been coping. That experience is a big part of why I have a particular interest in supporting women through the perinatal period and the ongoing juggle of motherhood. I also live with a chronic pain condition (endometriosis) and joint hypermobility, so I understand first-hand the extra weight that comes with navigating co-occurring conditions alongside a neurodivergent brain.
For the past five years, I’ve worked within a specialist NHS mental health community team, and I bring that same collaborative, person-led approach into my coaching — supporting you on your individual journey, not a one-size-fits-all programme. Much of that experience has been with neurodivergent mums, particularly around overwhelm, self-esteem, and social struggles.
I’m a fully insured, ADHD Works-certified coach, and whether you’re already diagnosed, awaiting assessment, or self-identified, you’re welcome here. I specialise in supporting late-diagnosed and self-identified neurodivergent adults, including women in the perinatal period and those navigating perimenopause and menopause. My approach is compassion-focused and trauma-informed, centred on building self-awareness and acceptance alongside real education about how a neurodivergent brain works.
